6:50 pm	avariel adopted two ships today. actually its one ship and one submarine. the submarine? HMAS Ovens. who is docked at Fremantle Maritime Musuem. she turned up. because avariel was working on breaking Lusitania's spirit. and U20 was around too. anyways, Ovens says its way too hot to hang around Fremantle. so she's staying with us. and the ship. surprisingly, its Lusitania. i don't recall how he turned up. but he did and Nimble tied up him. and we got him. as in we brought him over to avariel's room. he was very much the fighter. kept being nasty and all. until avariel locked him in her drawer. turns out he's horribly caustraphobic. the drawer freaked him out very much. so avariel tied him to her bed post. then Nadir had to come along and we had to fight him off. and thank the Goddess, Lusitania literally turned over a new leaf. essentailly he was touched that we risked our lives to protect him. and avariel's adopted him. so he's being good now. i think avariel's threat of the drawer really got to him. and we also went to the travel agent's. and guess what, the cruise tickets are coming in tomorrow. that makes avariel happy. then she can stop death-glaring Cunard. and the heat over here is driving all of us insane. i can't wait for night to fall. then it'll get cooler. 3:51 pm	happy mage means happy ships my mage is happy. my mage got her cruise tickets and documentation and stuff. my mage also got her telegraph keyring she bought off ebay. my mage's poems were also well recieved in class. therefore i have happy mage. and it makes me happy. 10:43 pm	we just finished helping avariel clear her bedroom. and we still have some more to clear. namely her desk. and the area around the TV. and she made us a sleeping area next to her bed. so we have somewhere else to sleep if we find her bed too crowded. yay ! oh. i must update you. with news. all six of the cunard queens are now living with us. Queen Victoria joined us a few days ago. and avariel doesn't mind. she's more than happy that we've with her. lizzie and her get on really well. they're always off playing somewhere in the room. avariel doesn't allow us to wander around without her. and now we have to wait for rms_titanic and ker_heb to come online. 9:00 am	there's humans in my mage's room. and they have stinky stuff with them. WAH ~ its because they're here to clean the bathroom. and make it stinky with cleaning products. and they're making alot of noise too. gossiping and all. and we're all sitting here listening to them to talk. Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary are sitting outside the bathroom making sure they don't mess up avariel's bathroom. the sounds of water splashing doesn't exactly inspire confidence. and those dumb humans are wearing shoes into the room. and into the bathroom. seriously the cleaning products they are using are stinky. looks like we need to air out the room again. and we're lonely. because rms_titanic and ker_heb have gone off to her grandmother's and they don't have internet there. so we'll only see them tomorrow morning. when they get back to ker_heb's dorm. and now i want to go back to sleep. but those stupid humans are making too much noise. 6:55 pm	i think my mage is sick. or just burnt out. she spent the whole day sleeping. she needs that sleep. really. she's been lacking in sleep. and she keeps saying its because she's busy and stuff. and also she's been telling us that she's "practicing" surviving on as little sleep as possible so she can explore the ship for longer times. but i think that's nothing but pure blidge water. i'd wager my hull, which i value thank you very much, she'll burn herself out before the trip and then spend 2/3rds of it sleeping. which won't be good at all. then again, we were talking earlier and then we came to the decision that my mage is going to use the cruise as down time. she needs that down time really. but as we all know, she's going run around the ship like a mad woman taking so many pictures and exploring every single nook and cranny. and that won't help with her idea of down time. which means we may need to tie her to a deck chair or lock her in the cabin to stop her from running around. and the fact that its the last month of the semester doesn't really help. avariel has so many assignments i wonder if she has the time for them all. she's doing alright in school. at least she enjoys her classes. at least she has most of november to rest and relax. before the packing frenzy begins when she returns to singapore on the 23rd of november. then again knowing my mage, she won't start packing until 2 days before we leave. heck, i won't be surprised if she only starts packing the morning of the 4th. and as everybody has been saying, my mage will be so excited for the trip she'll pack weeks in advance. but we know better. avariel will think of packing weeks in advance but won't actually start packing until a few days before we leave. ** we took the new Queen Elizabeth out with us yesterday. am glad to say she had fun. she seems to have claimed the spot on avariel's left shoulder. not the best spot since thats where avariel carries her bag but who am i to argue to her. she's developing quite the personality too. starting to figure things out on her own. things like humans, magic and living in the human world. and we finally have an answer to the issue of names. avariel told us quite firmly that she wasn't going to call for 'Queen Elizabeth' and have both ships come to her. and the original Queen Elizabeth, as my double funneled sister likes to insist, demands to be called Queen Elizabeth. so we decided that the new ship would be called Lizzie. and everyone is fine with it. and avariel is happy with it.   and we're worried for ker_heb and rms_titanic. after our fellow ship posted a rather worrying entry. but worrying won't get us anywhere. we just have to wait for them to get up and come online. then we can discuss stuff. ker_heb did say she was starting Dungeons and Dragons which will probably be a good thing for fun. its fun afterall. Cunard, a unit of Carnival Corporation & plc signed an agreement with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for the construction of the new 2092-passenger ocean liner, which will be built at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard at an all-in cost of approximately $700 million. The vessel will be the second largest Cunarder the company has ever built. "Cunard already owns and operates the two most famous ocean liners in the world, Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Mary 2, and a third -- Queen Victoria -- is due to be named by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales, in December of this year," said Carol Marlow, president of Cunard Line. "The decision to order another ship for Cunard Line has been taken as a result of the strong booking response to the new Queen Victoria, and we are extremely pleased that Cunard will once again become a three-ship fleet so soon after the departure of the much-celebrated Queen Elizabeth 2 in November next year. Furthermore, we are delighted that Her Majesty The Queen has given her blessing to our calling this new Cunarder 'Queen Elizabeth', after our first vessel of that name." The new ship follows a long line of famous Cunard liners stretching back to the company's inception as the first operator of a timetabled transatlantic service 167 years ago. "It is a particularly special moment for Fincantieri to have secured a second order from Cunard at a time when we are nearing the completion of Queen Victoria," said Mr. Giuseppe Bono, Fincantieri's Chief Executive Officer. 10:13 pm	My mage is so cute. really. yesterday she was sitting in her bedroom when she saw a rainbow outside. so she grabbed her camera and ran out to take photos. but it started raining again. so she couldn't take many photos. lol. my mage loves photography. and today, my mage suddenly had the craving for fruit juice. so she dragged us ships out to the supermarket. and ended up buying more than just fruit juice. my mage's housemates amuse me. we were down earlier to get dinner. and one of her housemates was out of toothpaste and so she made it known. my mage then said "eww" and another housemate said "to error is human". my mage almost died of trying to not laugh. thankfully us ships are invisible to them humans so we were laughing so much our funnels hurt. and naturally we shared the amusement with ker_heb and rms_titanic . after all, us ships and ship mages must stick together. the world is harsh enough. Queen Elizabeth my mage made a new rule. we have to sign off our entries with our names. and also tag them with our names. so we know who wrote what. 5:06 pm	Hello all. this is Queen Mary 2 here. my mage hasn't gotten down to making a nice livejournal icon for me. so i'll just use this one for the time being. what else can i say? well. an introduction should do. name: Queen Mary 2 nicknames: merii, QM2 age: not too old, not too young gender: female, OF COURSE likes: avariel (our ship mage), sleeping, avariel's pillows, food, sailing around the river (when my mage takes us there), museums dislikes: salvagers, some humans, rainy days, when avariel has to go to school ** well .. avariel promised us that she'll go to the supermarket to buy food. because we ran out of milk yesterday. and i'm getting bored of the cookies and instant noodles she has in her room. lol Current Mood: content Current Music: 太鼓の達人 - ラブリー X (4 Comments |Comment on this)
